* LuccME 1.0 Beta is available for download (version released on November 18th, 2011), see instructions and examples below.

	* Our contact email (luccme@inpe.br) is operational. We would be very pleased to have your feedback! Have you managed to install TerraME and LuccME properly? Did you run the examples and see the results using TerraView? Do you want to join us in the effort of developing new open components?

LuccME - Model examples

Two examples applied to the Brazilian Amazon are described below at two different spatial scales adopting either a continuous or a discrete potential model for the Allocation procedure. The fisrt example regards the application of a continuous Allocation procedure based on CLUE model to the Central Brazilian Amazon. he second example regards the application of a discrete Allocation procedure
based on CLUE-S model to Santarém - a municipality located in Pará State.

NEWS: LuccME, an extension for top-down land change modeling, has been released!

TerraME is a programming environment for spatial dynamical modelling. It supports cellular automata, agent-based models, and network models running in 2D cell spaces. TerraME provides an interface to TerraLib geographical database, allowing models direct access to geospatial data. Its modelling language has in-built functions that makes it easier to develop multi-scale and multi-paradigm models for environm…
